CD/DVD polishing and data recovery
Scratches, haze, a disc the drive will no longer take. We polish the surface and read the files if the layer is still there. Same building, Mustamäe tee 50.

A disc is not dead until the mirror layer is gone
Most unreadable CDs and DVDs are scratched or dirty, not chemically finished. The drive loses focus, the disc jumps, Windows shows an empty volume. Professional polishing removes the top damage and restores clarity. Then we read the data - photos, documents, old software discs, home DVDs.
We work with CD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, DVD-R, mini discs. Blu-ray by arrangement. If the mirror layer is peeling (disc rot), polish is not enough; then we say whether anything still comes off the sectors. If not, you do not pay for recovery.
Do not tape foil on it, do not rub toothpaste in circles, do not wash it in hot water. Bring the disc. Write on a note what was supposed to be on it - that helps check the files we read.

Does the disc survive polishing?
Yes. The aim is readability and a copy of the files on new media. The original comes back with you.
Scratched movie DVDs too?
If it is your disc and we are extracting data, yes. Copying shop-bought discs is not our subject.
